TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up
TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
