Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
